Abstract :
Low self-esteem is a prolonged feeling of worthlessness or meaninglessness resulting from changing abilities and negative self-evaluations so that the decline in self-esteem can be situational or chronic. The purpose of this scientific paper is to apply occupational gardening therapy to improve a person's ability to carry out activities so that he can be as independent as possible. The research method was carried out in a case study with data collection by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of occupational therapy research have an effect on increasing one's ability to carry out activities. The conclusion of this paper can increase the ability to perform activities in patients with low self-esteem. Suggestions for nurses are expected to be able to apply occupational therapy independently, while suggestions for patients can improve their ability to do activities independently.
