Abstract :
Asthma is an inflammatory disease of the respiratory tract which is characterized by widespread narrowing of the airways caused by bronchospasm, mucosal edema and hypersecretion of thick mucus which is recurrent, recurrent and reversible. The value of vital capacity is one indication of airway obstruction. Asthma management in addition to pharmacotherapy is also carried out by nonpharmacological approaches, namely breathing exercises. The general purpose of writing this scientific paper is to gain experience and be able to apply diaphragmatic breathing techniques. In the assessment stage, it was found that the client experienced shortness of breath due to asthma. Mr. P has a problem Lack of knowledge about the disease process b.d do not know the sources of information. The action given is by applying education on diaphragmatic breathing techniques.
The conclusion of the action given is that it has been achieved where the client has been able to streamline the breathing pattern by means of diaphragmatic breathing exercises.
