Abstract :
Elderly is an age group in humans who have entered the final stages of the phase of life. Groups that are categorized as elderly will occur a process called the Aging Process or the aging process. Asthma is defined as a condition when the airways become inflamed, narrow and swollen, and produce excess mucus that makes breathing difficult. The purpose of the study was to understand and apply asthma exercise therapy to breathing pattern disorders. The design of this study used the method of observation, interviews, literature studies, literature studies, the sample taken was one respondent, namely the elderly with asthma. The results of the study that giving asthma exercise training three times a week for 3x/week this asthma exercise was very effective in improving breathing patterns as evidenced by the RR 24x/minute there was no use of breathing aids to make asthma sufferers fitness so as to minimize the occurrence of recurrence. It is hoped that the action of asthma exercise therapy can be applied to reduce the recurrence of ineffective breathing patterns.
