Abstract :
Literary works have the function of entertaining and educating their readers. As in one of the literary works, namely the novel. In the novel there are values contained in it, one of which is through the depiction of the personality of the characters in the story. Character personality is a characteristic possessed by each character in the story which is influenced by internal and external factors. These factors cause the shape of the character's personality in the story. In the novel Wedding Agreement by Mia Chuz, there are factors that cause the main character's personality that we should know. In order to find out the factors that cause personality, this study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with a literary psychology approach. Based on the results of research on the novel Wedding Agreement by Mia Chuz, there are several personality formations and factors that cause the main character's personality, namely: Psychological factors, environmental factors and religious factors.
