Abstract :
Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan Institute Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi is one of the institutions that deal with Islamic and Muhammadiyah issues. The Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan Institute created an activity that must be followed by all students of the Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi, namely Mentoring Read and Write Quran (BTQ), this mentoring activity aims to foster and deepen the Islam of Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi students, especially in the field of reading and writing the Quran (BTQ). ). This mentoring program was formed with small groups according to their respective grades, with each group being guided by one instructor/mentor from UMMI students. However, there are several obstacles in the selection of this BTQ mentoring instructor, namely the frequent occurrence of errors in the selection of prospective BTQ mentoring instructors and also the selection assessment of these prospective instructors has not used a computerized system and also the instructor selection process is still using a manual system so that there are still errors in terms of his assessment. In connection with these problems, a system was designed to determine the selection of BTQ mentoring instructors in order to make it easier for the AIK institution to accurately determine the instructors to be selected. The method used to determine the selection of BTQ mentoring instructors uses the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method. This method was chosen because of its simplicity in responding to both qualitative and quantitative retrieval and response analysis of the weight values for each criterion. The simplicity of this method is one of the authors' factors in solving the problem of determining the BTQ Mentoring Instructor.
