Abstract :
RISNAWATI AZIZAH, 2021. The Effect of Livestock Performance on the Selling Price of Sheep (Case Study in Sukabumi City Animal Market). Under the guidance of RENY SUKMAWANI and ENDANG TRI ASTUTININGSIH. The determination of the price of livestock in the buying and selling process is based on an estimate of the performance of the livestock. This study aims to know to what extent the performance of sheep determine the selling price of sheep in the animal market. This research was conducted at the Sukabumi City animal market in 18th August 2021 using a survey method. The dependent variable used in this study is the selling price of sheep (Y). Meanwhile, the independent variables tested were the weight of the sheep (X1), the age of the sheep (X2), and the sex of the sheep (D1). This study uses Multiple Linear Regression Model with OLS as the method of analysis. The results showed that the performance of livestock had a significant effect on the selling price of livestock. Regression analysis showed that the weight of the sheep (X1), age of the sheep (X2), and the sex of the sheep (D1) had a significant effect either simultaneously or partially on the Selling Price of Sheep (Y) with a coefficient of determination of 96,15%. therefor, increasing the quality of intensive livestock cultivation management by farmers is needed to produce good performance and high selling price livestocks.
