Abstract :
Gastritis is a condition of inflammation or bleeding of the gastric mucosa which can be acute, chronic, diffuse, or local. Inflammation of the gastric mucosa in gastritis can cause pain. The purpose of this application is to determine the effectiveness of giving warm compresses to gastritis patients. The design of this research method is to use the case study method. The subjects used were 1 (one) person with a medical diagnosis of gastritis. The application instrument in data collection using NRS. Data collection uses assessment and intervention. The results of the application showed that after giving warm compresses for 3 day, the pain scale decreased, namely before doing warm compresses the pain scale was 5 and after warm compresses the pain scale became 1. Researchers concluded that warm compress therapy is proven to reduce pain in gastritis patients.
