Abstract :
As the saying goes, language is the window to the world. The ability to communicate effectively in different languages is crucial in the modern era. In particular, English language proficiency is in high demand as it is widely used in the latest gadgets and applications. English has also been recognized as the international language by the United Nations, serving as a crucial medium for communication and establishing beneficial business relations with other nations. However, not all people in Indonesia possess a good understanding and command of the English language. This can be attributed to the fact that early education primarily focuses on the Indonesian language and local dialects. Additionally, the lack of interest in learning English and limited access to proper language learning facilities also contribute to the issue. To address these challenges, a website called EDUMAR (Educational Grammar) has been developed, providing a platform for people to improve their English language skills, including grammar, through interactive quizzes. The main objective of this research is to implement the Fisher-Yates algorithm on the EDUMAR website to enhance question randomization, providing users with more diverse quiz experiences. Through the implementation of the Fisher-Yates algorithm, EDUMAR aims to empower Indonesian individuals to independently and effectively improve their English language proficiency. By offering a wide range of quiz variations, the website enhances user engagement and provides a more enjoyable and interactive learning experience.
