Abstract :
Anxiety is often felt by mothers during pregnancy, especially in the first pregnancy
(Primigravida) which is a new experience. Anxiety will increase with the age of the third
trimester of pregnancy before delivery. Physical and psychological changes in pregnant
women cause the emergence of anxiety that can affect fetal development. Dhikr therapy is
an effort to reduce anxiety in pregnant women by remembering the existence of Allah in
the form of pronunciation with the tongue or heart by saying lafadz Takbir 33x
(Allahuakbar) Tahlil 33x (Laillahaillallah) Tasbih 33x (Subhanallah) Tahmid 33x
(Alhamdulillah). This paper aims to apply the application of Dhikr therapy to anxiety in
second trimester pregnant women. This method of writing scientific papers uses a case
study and interview approach. The author did Dhikr therapy once a day for ten consecutive
days. The administration of Dhikr therapy is carried out for 10-25 minutes. The results
obtained after the administration of Dhikr therapy used data collection tools with studies,
Zung Self-rating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS) questionnaire sheets and observation sheets. The
results of the case study showed a decrease in anxiety levels in clients as evidenced by
changes in the Zung Self-rating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS) score from 66 (moderate anxiety
level) to 35 (normal / not anxious). The results of the use of dhikr therapy are effective in
reducing anxiety in III trimester pregnant women. The results of this writing are expected
to increase knowledge, especially pregnant women in order to apply dhikr therapy as a
non-pharmacological alternative to reduce anxiety in III trimester pregnant women.
