Abstract :
Hypertension is a disease characterized by increased arterial blood pressure and
makes the heart work harder in circulating blood throughout the body. SEFT
therapy is a combination of the body's energy system and spirituality in prayer
sentences using the tapping method on the body's 18 meridian points which
stimulate and activate the body's 12 energy pathways, causing relaxation in the
body. This case study aims to determine the decrease in blood pressure in
hypertensive subjects after SEFT therapy. The method used is a descriptive design
approach to nursing care using SEFT therapy to reduce blood pressure. Case
subjects amounted to 1 patient. Data collection was carried out for 3 meetings using
a digital sphygmomanometer before and after SEFT therapy. The results of the
study showed that the two study subjects had the same gender, namely women. The
subject of case study 1 is 62 years old. The results of the case study showed a
decrease in blood pressure after SEFT therapy. Conclusion. This application is very
useful before and after giving SEFT therapy to blood pressure in the elderly with
hypertension from 180/90 mmHg to 170/60 mmHg. Performed 3x in 1 week for 5-
15 minutes
