provision of non-pharmacological combination teraphy by training breathing techniques,
namely buteyko breathing techniques, buteyko breathing techniques are slowing the
frequency of breathing to normal, improving diaphragmatic (chest) breathing and
breathing through the nose. The purpose of scientific paper is to make effective breathing
patterns in patients with asthma, the method used is a case study method, the action to be
carried out is by applying buteyko breathing techniques for four days in two consecutive
weeks for 30 minutes. Results obtained after performing buteyko breathing technique,
patient can control asthma when there is a recurrence, the tightness felt by the client is
reduced, and the frequency of breathing becomes normal. So it can be concluded that there
is an influence from application of buteyko breathing technique in patients with asthma.
