Abstract :
Non-communicable disease (PTM) is one of the most serious health diseases, namely hypertension. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that the current global prevalence of hypertension is 22% of the total population in the world. This is an epidemiological transition that parallels the demographic transition and technological transition in Indonesia. PTM (non-communicable disease) includes degenerative disease which is a major factor in morbidity and mortality problems. Epidemiological transitions are caused by changes in social economy, environment and changes in population structure, when people have followed unhealthy lifestyles, for example smoking, lack of physical activity, foods high in fat and calories, and consuming alcohol which are suspected to be risk factors for NCDs (non-communicable diseases). . One of PTM is blood pressure or hypertension. Relaxation is a non-pharmacological technique in behavioral therapy with the aim of calming one's mind and body so as to avoid mental and physical stress. Relaxation is a technique that can make the mind and body relax through a process that will progressively release muscle tension in every body. Treatment of hypertension does not only rely on drugs from doctors or diet alone, it is also important to make our bodies relax. Relaxed conditions are needed to activate the parasismatic nervous system to work against the sympathetic nerves. In general, people who are suffering from illness are accompanied by feelings and an uneasy soul, praying and dhikr can calm the soul. Judging from the results of blood pressure examination has changed. Based on the development of the client's condition from the first day to the third day, the client's blood pressure data was obtained from the initial BP: 158/97 mmHg, N: 80 times/minute, S: 36.5'c, RR: 18 times/minute. to BP: 138/90 mmHg, N: 91 times/minute, S: 36,'c, RR: 22 times/minute, therefore the blood pressure test results have decreased.
