Abstract :
Learning must be fun, interesting, meaningful and effective to develop children's
mathematical logical intelligence. This will work if the teacher can truly
understand how children learn and assumes that emotionally supportive networks
are formed. Consequently, teachers can utilize a variety of educational play
activities and tools to help children develop their skills. Due to the fact that games
are designed with intelligence in mind, that games require intelligence, and that
games can develop intelligence, additional research has shown that there is a
significant correlation between play and intelligence. The Congklak game is used
as a method used to improve mathematical logic intelligence, because games
congklak is a fun game and makes children focus. Through congklak games
children are indirectly trained to learn to count but while playing for fun. In
quantitative research using experimental methods where pretest and posttest
techniques are carried out as comparison material in getting results to determine
the effect Kaulinan Barudak "congklak" on mathematical logic intelligence in
children aged 4-5 years at PAUD Baiturahman, which is also a sample in this
research. This study found that in the hypothesis there was a significant difference
or otherwise significant.
