ABSTRACT
NURSING CARE IN THE ELDERLY WITH NURSING PROBLEMS MOBILITY OBSTACLES
(Case Study At Wisma Pandu UPT PSTW Magetan Th.2021)

Physical changes in the elderly, one of which results from a decrease in the musculoskeletal system which will affect activity and result in barriers to physical mobility in the elderly. The purpose of this case study is to find out nursing care for the elderly who have physical mobility barriers.
Nursing care was carried out at Wisma Pandu UPT PSTW Magetan for 5 days. The method used is the nursing process method including assessment, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the study Mrs. S obtained the results of the ability of the mobility level of Mrs. S, the results are level 1, which means that they need assistive devices, experience pain in the legs, impaired walking posture, limitations in carrying out physical activities and movements, every time they walk using crutches.
Nursing actions taken are active and passive ROM. The results of the actions taken, show that the problem has not been resolved, namely Mrs. S still seems to have difficulty mobilizing if he doesn't use crutches. Giving range of motion (ROM) as an intervention in overcoming the problem of physical mobility barriers. It can be concluded that this range of motion exercise is very effective when performed routine ROM can increase joint mobility, joint flexibility, and muscle strength in the elderly.
