Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to explain the significance of the effect of family ownership, independent commissoner and gender of board directors in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, in consumer goods industry sectors. In this study, there were 183 samples of companies withn data met the criteria to examine a total of 173 data during the the 2017-2020 research period. This study use purposive sampling method and the data saource used was secondary data. Descriptive statistical methods were used, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, t test (partial), coefficient of determination (R2) test and simultaneous significant test (F). After testing, it is obtained that family ownership, independent commissoner and gender of board directors have no effect on firm value in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019.
