Abstract :
This study aims to (1) describe the planning of Arabic language learning with the Gontor's Kulliyatul Mu'allimin Al-Islamiyah (KMI) direct method at the Kuliyatul Mualimin Baitul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School Slogohimo, (2) explain the implementation of Arabic language learning with the Gontor's Kulliyatul Mu'allimin Al-Islamiyah (KMI) direct method at the Kuliyatul Mualimin Baitul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School Slogohimo, (3) explain the evaluation of Arabic language learning with the Gontor's Kulliyatul Mu'allimin Al-Islamiyah (KMI) direct method on the ability to memorize the al-Qur?an for students at the Kuliyatul Mualimin Baitul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School Slogohimo.
This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The data collection procedures used observation, interviews, and documentation. While the technique of data analysis researchers used data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
The results of this study show that (1) the planning of Arabic language learning with the Gontor's Kulliyatul Mu'allimin Al-Islamiyah (KMI) direct method at the Kuliyatul Mualimin Baitul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School Slogohimo is going well. The steps in learning planning include; a) preparing annual programs (prota), semester programs (promes), monthly activities to daily activities, b) determining learning methods, c) determining reference books. (2) The implementation of Arabic language learning with the Gontor's Kulliyatul Mu'allimin Al-Islamiyah (KMI) direct method at the Kuliyatul Mualimin Baitul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School Slogohimo has been running smoothly. The Arabic language learning program is divided into learning Arabic in class and learning Arabic outside the classroom. (3) Evaluation of the implementation of Arabic language learning with the Gontor's Kulliyatul Mu'allimin Al-Islamiyah (KMI) direct method at the Kuliyatul Mualimin Baitul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School Slogohimo has been successful. Students began to like Arabic, learning Arabic with the KMI Gontor method made it easier to memorize the Qur'an and strengthened the murojaah of the Qur'an, Arabic language added enthusiasm to memorizing the Qur'an, two female students were able to complete a 30 juz memorization deposit.
