Abstract :
This study aims to partially explain the effect of financial literacy and sociodemographic factors on stock investment decisions. There are several points in sociodemographic factors but in this study two points were taken, namely gender and income. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method. The data used in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The population of this research is students of the Faculty of Economics, University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo class of 2018 who already have an income. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling technique using the Slovin formula with the results of 77 respondents. This study uses multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that: financial literacy has a significant effect on stock investment decisions, gender has a significant effect on stock investment decisions, income has a significant effect on stock investment decisions.
