NURSING CARE FOR THE ELDERLY DISORDERS OF ALVI ELIMINATION WITH CONSTIPATION NURSING PROBLEMS

Constipation is defined as lack of defecation 3 times per week accompanied by hard, incomplete, and dry stools. If constipation is not treated immediately, it will cause serious complications, one of which is rectal prolapse or hemorrhoids due to excessive straining. This case study aims to determine the application of education to increase fluid intake in clients who experience constipation.
Nursing care for the elderly with alvi elimination disorder with nursing problems with constipation at UPT PSTW Magetan for 5 days on 20 ? 27 June 2022. The method used is a nursing process approach.
The results of the study found that the client experienced Ms. M has not had a bowel movement for 8 days, the stomach feels full and cramped. Nursing actions taken to overcome the problem include constipation management.
Nursing Care for the Elderly Alvi Elimination Disorder With Nursing Problems Constipation is expected to be resolved as evidenced by no complaints of long and difficult defecation.
