ABSTRACT NURSING CARE IN SCHIZOPHRENIC PATIENTS WITH NURSING PROBLEMS SELF-CONCEPT: SELF-ESTEEM LOW (Case Study at RSJD dr. Arif Zainudin, Surakarta) By: Galih Mira Utami NIM. 19613324 Low Self-Esteem is a prolonged feeling of worthlessness, meaninglessness and inferiority due to a negated evaluation of oneself or one's own abilities. Loss of self-confidence, feeling like a failure because of not being able to achieve desires according to the ideal of oneself. The purpose of this study was to apply nursing care to Schizophrenia with Low Self-Esteem Nursing problems. The method used is problem solving with the approach of the nursing process. Participants in this study were Schizophrenic patients with HDR problems in the Srikandi Room of RSJ dr. Arif Zainudin Surakarta which was carried out for five days on December 7-11, 2021. The results of the study were obtained by Ms. S. said that she received a reprieve from her friends because she was disrespectful, became useless, was unable to do anything, felt dissatisfied and felt ashamed. The nursing action plan carried out in accordance with specific objectives that include fostering a trusting relationship with the patient, identifying the positive aspects and abilities possessed, being able to assess the abilities possessed, helping to choose the activities to be trained and training the activities thath has. The results of the evaluation were obtained by patients being able to perform positive abilities gradually such as making the bed, washing stories, washing glasses and washing dishes. When the problem arises, it is expected that the patient will use the methods that have been taught to focus on the activity not on the problem experienced.
