ABSTRACT PONOROGO DISTRICT GOVERNMENT POLICIES IN REVITALIZING THE PEDESTRIAN ROUTE OF JENDERAL SOEDIRMAN PONOROGO DISTRICT (Case Study at the DPUPKP Office of Ponorogo Regency) ELFA PUSPITASARI NIM.19221794 This thesis is entitled Policy of the Government of Ponorogo Regency in Revitalizing Pedestrian Lanes for Jalan Jenderal Soedirman, Ponorogo Regency. The purpose of this study is to find out how the Ponorogo district government's policy is in revitalizing Jalan Jenderal Soedirman, Ponorogo Regency. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. In collecting data used interview and documentation methods. As for the informants in this study are people who are involved and know about this research. There are 6 informants who will become resource persons. It consists of PUPKP service employees, the UKL-UPL consultant team, pedestrians and angkringan traders.From the results of the research it is known that in order to achieve the targets of the goals and objectives for the vision and mission that have been set, the Ponorogo district government policy manifests itself in the form of infrastructure policies and programs. The Public Works Department has contributed to realizing some of the Missions in the Regional Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMD) in accordance with their authority. To realize the implementation of the Mission of the Ponorogo Regency Public Works Service, one of which is the construction of pedestrians at a number of points in Ponorogo and having a strategic plan that is able to encourage the achievement of the Ponrogo Regency's 2021-2026 vision.
