SCIENTIFIC WRITING: PHYSICAL NURSING CARE IN SCHIZOPRENIA
PATIENTS WITH NURSING PROBLEMS LOW SELF-ESTEEM

Low self-esteem is a problem in mental nursing that results in one of the mental
health disorders, namely disturbances in social interaction. The purpose of this
paper is to provide nursing care to schizophrenic patients with low self-esteem
nursing problems, which includes assessment, formulation of diagnoses,
implementation, and evaluation of nursing.
Nursing care is carried out in the Srikandi room at the Regional Mental Hospital,
dr. Arif Zainudin Surakarta for four days starting on December 9, 2021 until
December 12, 2021. The method used in this scientific paper is the nursing
process approach method
From the results of the study, it was identified that the patient had low self-esteem
problems. After the implementation of nursing by using (SP) Implementation
Strategy. In SP 1 the patient is able to choose activities that can be done, the
patient chooses activities to make the bed, recite short letters, and wash dishes.
SP 2 patients carry out these activities and include them in the daily schedule.
From the results of the implementation of the patient can do all the activities
chosen well. The patient is used to doing these activities, so the patient's self?confidence begins to grow. This has met the criteria for the results expected by
the researcher.
