Abstract :
Religiosity is a universal experience that is not found in religious ritual activities in places of worship but is found in aspects of human life with examples such as getting God's help in difficult circumstances, feeling inner peace after praying and praying (Darmawanti, 2012). Theoretically, it can be stated that an effective mechanism for dealing with stress or coping with stress can be done through a religious approach. According to Lazarus, stress coping is a process in which individuals try to manage the distance that exists between demands and the resources they use in dealing with situations. Stress is also found in one of the symptoms that appear in perimenopausal women. Perimenopausal women are in the age range of 45-55 years with various physical and psychological symptoms. The phenomenon that occurs in Patihan Kidul Village is that there are problems with middle to lower economic families and monographic data shows that there is a percentage of 98% Muslim Based on this explanation, researchers wanted to find out the effect of religiosity on coping stress in perimenopausal women in Patihan Kidul Village, Siman District, Ponorogo Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of religiosity on coping stress in perimenopausal women in Patihan Kidul Village, Siman District, Ponorogo Regency. This research uses quantitative methods by taking random samples and using a Likert scale. The sample in this study was taken 25%, namely 57 out of 228 populations that met the criteria. The scale used includes a religiosity scale and a stress coping scale. The next method is data analysis using the help of the IBM SPSS 26 Statistics system. The results of the research that has been done, data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive influence between religiosity and coping with stress in perimenopausal women in Patihan Kidul Village, Siman District, Ponorogo Regency. This can be interpreted that the higher the religiosity, the higher the coping stress, and conversely the lower the religiosity, the lower the coping stress in finding strategies and overcoming the problems encountered. The percentage results show that 28.2% coping stress is influenced by religiosity, while 71.8% is influenced by other factors that are not present in this study
