Abstract :
Local Economic Development (LED) is an alternative to increase the resilience and strength of the community's economy in the face of globalization. LED is an effort to develop the regional economy based on the social, economic and cultural conditions of the community by utilizing collaboration with the government, business world, community organizations and local communities in Nitikan Village, Plaosan District, Magetan Regency. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. To determine the results of the Management Strategy, Investment Strategy, and Business Strategy used in business development by using interviews, observation, triangulation, SWOT analysis, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Small industrial businesses can increase the potential of the local economy, which can be seen from the increasing level of the economy of the community and the families of small industrial entrepreneurs in Nitikan Village. 2) The strategies used can be implemented properly and the results can be felt directly by the owners and the surrounding community, 3) The constraints faced by small businesses in Nitikan Village are lack of capital, lack of labor, the bread produced does not last long, the tools used and owned are still minimal and 4) Businesses run by small industrial business owners in Nikan Village can absorb labor.
