Keywords: Implementation, Supervision, Academic. The type of research that the researcher will use is qualitative research, so the research will be carried out by going directly to the location of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo Elementary School to obtain data on formulation, implementation and evaluation of academic supervision to improve the professionalism of teachers at Muhammadiyah Ponorogo Elementary School. The research method used is observation, interviews and documentation. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the implementation of academic supervision as an effort to improve the professionalism of teachers at SD Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Academic supervision is an important strategy in improving teacher professionalism. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with research subjects namely teachers and principals at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo. The results of the research on the Implementation of Academic Supervision in Improving Teacher Professionalism at SD Muhammadiyah Ponorogo show that academic supervision consists of three stages in the management strategy, namely 1) Formulation of academic supervision. 2) Implementation of academic supervision. 3) Evaluation of academic supervision.
