Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a decrease in kidney function, so that the kidneys are unable to transport the rest of the body's metabolism or perform their usual functions and cause sodium retention to increase so that the total CES high and makes the capillary pressure rise. Research purposes to study and practice nursing care in patients with a medical diagnosis of chronic kidney disease through a comprehensive nursing process approach using a case study method with a descriptive approach.
Case study on Mrs. I CKD patient with hypervolemia nursing problem in the mawar room of RSUD Dr. Harjono used data collection methods by interview, observation, and documentation study.
Actions to deal with client problems include assessment, data analysis, nursing diagnoses, nursing interventions, nursing implementation and evaluation. The results of the case study research showed that clients with CKD who had hypervolemia nursing problems had complaints of edema on the face, hands and feet, increased blood pressure, there was ascites, the results of laboratory tests found an increase in creatinine. The conclusion from the results of this case study is that nursing care for clients with CKD which is the main nursing problem that must be resolved is fluid balance due to fluid accumulation in the body which results in hypervolemia.
