The village head's leadership strategy is needed to influence the
community so that the village head can gain legitimacy. This study aims to: 1)
determine the leadership strategy of the Doho Village Head. 2) and know how the
Village Head gains and maintains legitimacy.
The research method uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach.
The data collection used is observation, interviews, and documentation.
The results of this study are: 1) The leadership strategy used by the Village
Head is through the realization of the Village Head's vision, mission and strategic
programs that have been conveyed in the campaign. and the value of good
cooperation between the Village Government and the community through village
deliberation forums with the hope of building harmony between the two. 2) The
village head's way of gaining legitimacy is by: Maintaining traditions or
maintaining religious beliefs that exist in the village. Such as the tradition of
slametan, yasinan, and recitation. and Providing the material welfare of society.
