DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF AN AUTOMATIC WASHER DRINKER FOR LAYING CHICKENS Muhammad Zam Zam Ainur Rusdi Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo e-mail : muhammadzamzam18520543@gmail.com ABSTRACT At the laying hen farm, Pak Kusnan still uses used cloth to wash the drinking troughs for laying hens, and at Mr Yantono's farm, the washing troughs for laying hens are done automatically, but there is a problem with this tool, namely when cleaning the drinking troughs. spilled down and hit the chicken feeder underneath. The time needed to wash a laying hen's drinker using an old cloth is one and a half hours. Meanwhile, the automatic one takes approximately half an hour. So this research produces an automatic washing tool for laying hens with RTC control. Hardware design includes Arduino Uno, servo motor, DC motor, water pump, limit switch sensor, RTC sensor. And supporting other components. For the design, use programming on the Arduino Uno on a PC/laptop. The performance of the washing machine for laying hens' drinkers starts at 07:00 until 07:02. For cleaning time 1 minute 2 seconds. and the result of automatically washing the laying hens' drinkers is that the drinking troughs are clean, there are no traces of yesterday's drinking water and they are clean from dirt that sticks to the laying hens' drinking troughs.
