Abstract :
This study examines the implementation of the Head of the National Library Regulation Number 6 of 2017 concerning the National Standard for the Implementation of the Village Library in the Manuk Village Library, Siman District, Ponorogo Regency. The type used in this study is a qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The informants in this study were the Head of Manuk Village as the person in charge of the library, the Head of the Library Management, the Village Secretary as well as the Section for Procurement of Reading Interest and Fulfillment. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and interviews then the data that has been collected is analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research findings state that there are still Manuk village libraries that do not meet national standards according to the Regulation of the Head of the National Library of Indonesia, namely the location of the library which is not yet effective and does not have its own building, and the opening hours of village library services have a duration of four hours which in the national standard means Village libraries must have a duration of open hours of six hours a day, while library collections, library facilities, library staff, library management, library management have met national standards.
