Abstract :
Breast milk is the best food for babies, it contains many natural nutrients that can support the baby's growth. There are many factors that inhibit breast milk production, including a mother's anxiety that can affect the oxytocin hormone to drop so that breast milk cannot come out after giving birth, then the mother gives formula milk to the baby. The design of an automatic oxytocin massager to increase milk production in nursing mothers uses Arduino Uno as a system and other components used in the system. The oxytocin massage process which was previously done manually with human hands is replaced by using an automatic massager which is controlled directly by the user. This oxytocin massager is not designed as a prototype and can be directly used by nursing mothers. All components are controlled by Arduino Uno as a command interpreter from the user. Users can control the massager using a control box that is connected by cable to the massager attached to the vest. The massager will move alternately within 15 seconds from top to bottom for 1 minute. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the results obtained are that the tool can be used more precisely in a sitting position. If you want to carry it everywhere, this massager is not suitable because it is heavy and still requires electricity from the socket as a power source. When the user is about to do an activity but has already turned on the massager, the user can press the reset button to stop the massager from working, and can immediately take off the vest. Based on the results of the tool testing that has been done, this tool has an error percentage of 20% and a success percentage of 80%. This proves that the Automatic Oxytocin Massage Tool to Increase Breast Milk Production in Breastfeeding Mothers is able to help increase breast milk production in nursing mothers.
