Abstract :
Anxiety is one of the nursing problems in hypertension. Proper nursing care in overcoming these problems will reduce complications. This study aims to analyze anxiety reduction interventions by means of autogenic relaxation in nursing care for hypertensive patients with anxiety nursing problems.
The method in this study is a literature study method using secondary data from the results of previous studies. The results of the literature study refer to non-pharmacological actions in the form of autogenic relaxation as an intervention in overcoming hypertension and anxiety. Giving autogenic relaxation has effectiveness and influence in reducing anxiety in hypertension. Based on the results of the study, the final result was that the provision of non-pharmacological measures in the form of teaching autogenic relaxation therapy which had effectiveness and influence in reducing anxiety in hypertensive patients.
Conclusion: With the provision of autogenic relaxation therapy to patients, it will reduce the level of anxiety that appears with a more confident feeling to recover from the disease.
