Abstract :

Alasan peneliti melakukan penelitian ini ialah diketahui bahwa terdapat permasalahan yang
terjadi pada PT. Asuransi Astra Buana Cabang Banjarmasin, yang diketahui bahwasannya pimpinan
belum memberikan motivasi kerja yang seharusnya kepada karyawan, karena diketahui pimpinan
masih belum memberikan motivasi secara intern maupun ekstern, yang artinya intern ialah
memberikan gaji sesuai dengan yang seharusnya, dan yang dimaksud ekstern ialah memberikan
apresiasi atas hasil kerja yang ia miliki di PT. Asuransi Astra Buana Cabang Banjarmasin. Penelitian
ini bertujuan untuk menguji : Motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan pada
PT.Asuransi Astra Buana Cabang Banjarmasin.
Rancangan penelitian ini adalah penelitian Kuantitatif dan merupakan penelitian survey,
Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah karyawan PT.Asuransi Astra Buana Cabang Banjarmasin dan
sampelnya ialah sebanyak 35 Orang karyawan
Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, kuesioner dan
observasi langsung ke PT.Asuransi Astra Buana Cabang Banjarmasin, teknik analisis data yang
digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji
heteroskedastisitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji regresi sederhana dan koefisien beta.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) motivasi kerja sangat dibutuhkan pada PT.Asuransi
Astra Buana Cabang Banjarmasin (2) kinerja yang baik sangat dibutuhkan pada PT.Asuransi Astra
Buana Cabang Banjarmasin, (3) Motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan
PT.Asuransi Astra Buana Cabang Banjarmasin

The reason for conducting this research is that it is known that there are problems that occur
in PT. Asuransi Astra Buana Banjarmasin Branch, which is known that the leadership has not
provided proper work motivation to employees, because it is known that the leadership still has not
provided motivation internally or externally, which means that internally it is to give salary according
to what it should be, and what is meant by external is to give appreciation for the results of the work
he has at PT. Astra Buana Insurance Banjarmasin Branch. This study aims to examine: Work
motivation has an effect on employee performance at PT. Asuransi Astra Buana Banjarmasin Branch.
The design of this research is quantitative research and is a survey research. The population in
this study are employees of PT.Asuransi Astra Buana Banjarmasin Branch and the sample is 35
employees.
This study uses data collection techniques in the form of interviews, questionnaires and direct
observation to PT. Asuransi Astra Buana Banjarmasin Branch, data analysis techniques used in this

study are validity test, reliability test, normality test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test,
simple regression test and beta coefficient.
The results showed that: (1) work motivation was needed at PT. Asuransi Astra Buana
Banjarmasin Branch (2) good performance was needed at PT. Insurance Astra Buana Banjarmasin
Branch, (3) work motivation had a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Insurance Astra
Buana Banjarmasin Branch
