Abstract :
Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Untuk mengkaji bagaimana pemberian kompensasi yang
selama ini dilaksanakan oleh PT. Kalimantan Prima Persada Depertemen Plant bagian
Mekanik. (2) Untuk mengkaji bagaimana dampak pemberian kompensasi terhadap kinerja
karyawan pada PT. Kalimantan Prima Persada Depertemen Plant bagian Mekanik. Metode
pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Informan pada penelitian ini
adalah Supervisor PT. Kalimantan Prima Persada Depertemen Plant bagian Mekanik.
Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi,
wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bentuk-bentuk kompensasi yang diterima karyawan PT.
Kalimantan Prima Persada Depertemen Plant Bagian Mekanik yaitu meliputi gaji, insentif,
bonus dan tunjangan yang diberikan perusahaan, namun untuk insentif atau bonus yang
diterima tergantung dari hasil kinerja individu. Dampak pemberian kompensasi terhadap
kinerja karyawan PT. Kalimantan Prima Persada Depertemen Plant bagian Mekanik
berpengaruh secara signifikan bagi pekerja dalam sebuah perusahaan peningkatan kuantitas
hasil kinerja yang sangat signifikan terjadi ketika karyawan termotivasi ingin mencapai
target yang telah diberikan perusahaan.
This study aims (1) to examine how the provision of compensation that has been
implemented by PT. Kalimantan Prima Persada Plant Department, Mechanical section. (2)
To examine how the impact of compensation on employee performance at PT. Kalimantan
Prima Persada Plant Department, Mechanical section. The method in this study used a
qualitative descriptive method. Informants in this study were Supervisors of PT. Kalimantan
Prima Persada Plant Department, Mechanical section. Data collection techniques used in
this study were observation, interviews, and documentation studies.
The results showed that the forms of compensation received by employees of PT.
Kalimantan Prima Persada Plant Department Mechanical Section which includes salaries,
incentives, bonuses and allowances provided by the company, but the incentives or bonuses
received depend on the results of individual performance. The impact of compensation on
the performance of employees of PT. Kalimantan Prima Persada The Mechanical
Department of Plants has a significant effect on workers in a company, a very significant
increase in the quantity of performance results occurs when employees are motivated to
achieve the targets that have been given by the company.
