Abstract :
Studi naratif ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki faktor intrinsik dan ekstrinsik yang mempengaruhi motivasi EFL siswa dalam menulis. Data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan dari hasil wawancara dengan dua siswa bahasa Inggris Program Pendidikan dari Universitas Islam di Kalimantan Selatan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah saya menyimpulkan ada tiga faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi ekstrinsik; hakiki motivasi untuk mengetahui, motivasi intrinsik untuk mencapai, dan motivasi intrinsik untuk mengalami stimulasi, dan ada tiga faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi ekstrinsik; lingkungan, dosen, dan orang tua.. Berdasarkan mahasiswa jawaban semua siswa mengatakan bahwa intrinsik motivasi untuk mengetahui adalah pengaruh terbesar mahasiswa dalam proses belajar menulis dan dosen memiliki pengaruh terbesar bagi siswa dalam belajar proses menulis. This narrative study aims to investigate the intrinsic and extrinsic factors which influence of the students? EFL motivation in writing. Data in this study were garnered from the results of interviews with two students of English Education Program from the Islamic University in South Kalimantan. The result of this research is I concludes there are three factors that influence extrinsic motivation; intrinsic motivation to know, intrinsic motivation to accomplish, and intrinsic motivation to experience stimulation, and there are three factors that influence extrinsic motivation; environment, lecturer, and parents.. Based on the students? answer all of the students said that intrinsic motivation to know is the biggest influences the students in learning writing process and lecturer has the biggest influences the students in learning writing process.
