Abstract :
Lambat belajar membaca ialah dimana anak tidak mencapai penguasaan objek pembelajaran untuk ke tingkat pembelajaran berikutnya. Ada beberapa fakta dilapangan mengenai lamban belajar sekolah dasar di SDN 3 Landasan Ulin Barat dan di SDN 3 Kemuning Banjarbaru. Masih banyak siswa yang memiliki masalah lamban belajar membaca, dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut guru menggunakan buku sebagai media dan menunjukkan huruf yang dipelajari kemudian siswa menjawabnya. Untuk itu dalam penelitian ini akan dikembangkan penggunaan media kartu huruf dengan teknik bermain Matching Card.Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengembangkan Media Kartu Huruf Dengan Teknik Matching Card Untuk Mengatasi Lamban Belajar Membaca. Metodelogi penelitian yang digunakan peneliti yakni penelitian pengembangan R&D (research and development) yang dilaksanakan dengan 5 tahap yaitu; (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan hipotetik, (4) penelaahan model hipotetik, (5) dan revisi model. Dalam pengembangan model ini instrument pengumpul data yang digunakan peneliti yakni; (1) observasi, (2) wawancara, (3) dan lembar validasi ahli.Hasil penelitian, yakni; (a) tersusunya model hipotetik Pengembangan Media Kartu Huruf Dengan Teknik Matching Card Untuk Mengatasi Lamban Belajar Membaca, (b) model hipotetik yang dikembangkan peneliti juga sudah tervalidasi oleh para ahli akademisi dan praktisi sesuai masukan yang diberikan. Dari hasil tersebut bahwa kekurangan dari model hipotetik ini ialah peneliti hanya menggunakan 5 tahapan pengembangan sehingga belum ditindak lanjuti sampai tahap desiminasi. Disarankan untuk guru wali kelas, dan peneliti selanjutnya agar menguji model hipotetik dilapangan/sekolah.
Slow learning to read is where children do not achieve mastery of learning objects to go to the next level of learning.
There are several facts in the field regarding the slow learning of elementary schools at SDN 3 Landasan Ulin Barat
and at SDN 3 Kemuning Banjarbaru. There are still many students who have problems learning to read slowly, in
overcoming these problems the teacher uses books as a medium and shows the letters being studied and then students
answer them. For this reason, this study will develop the use of letter card media with Matching Card playing
techniques. The purpose of this research is to develop Letter Card Media with Matching Card Techniques to
Overcome Slow Learning to Read. The research methodology used by the researcher is research and development of
R&D (research and development) which is carried out in 5 stages, namely; (1) preliminary study, (2) planning, (3)
hypothetical development, (4) hypothetical model study, (5) and model revision. In developing this model, the data
collection instrument used by the researcher is; (1) observation, (2) interviews, (3) and expert validation sheets. The
results of the study, namely; (a) the formulation of a hypothetical model for the Development of Letter Card Media
with Matching Card Techniques to Overcome Slow Reading Learning, (b) the hypothetical model developed by the
researcher has also been validated by academics and practitioners according to the input provided. From these
results, the drawback of this hypothetical model is that researchers only use 5 stages of development so that it has
not been followed up until the dissemination stage. It is recommended for homeroom teachers, and future researchers
to test hypothetical models in the field/school.
