Abstract :
Penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) sangat penting untuk melindungi tenaga kesehatan dari risiko penularan penyakit yang sangat infeksius. Prevalensi angka penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) di Puskesmas Pekauman pada bulan Januari-Juli Tahun 2021 sebesar 100% mengalami penurunan pada bulan Agustus-Desember Tahun 2021 menjadi 63,16% terhadap penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) di Puskesmas Pekauman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap tenaga kesehatan dengan penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) di Puskesmas Pekauman Kota Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh tenaga kesehatan sebanyak 57 responden, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Accidental Sampling. Analisis data menggunakan Chi Square secara univariat dan bivariat. Hasil analisis diketahui sebagian besar responden tidak menggunakan APD dengan benar 57,9%, sebagian besar responden memiliki pengetahuan baik 47,4% dan sebagian besar responden memiliki sikap negatif 52,6%. Ada hubungan pengetahuan (p-value = 0,001) dan sikap (p-value = 0,001) dengan penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) di Puskesmas Pekauman Kota Banjarmasin. Diharapkan tenaga kesehatan lebih meningkatkan kesadaran dan mematuhi peraturan penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) sesuai SOP saat bekerja. This study aims to determine the relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of health workers and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at the Pekauman Health Center in Banjarmasin City. This research is an analytical survey research with a Cross Sectional approach. The population and sample of this study were all 57 health workers, with a sampling technique using Accidental Sampling. Data analysis using Chi Square univariately and bivariately. The results of the analysis found that most respondents did not use PPE correctly 57.9%, most respondents had good knowledge 47.4% and most respondents had a negative attitude of 52.6%. There is a relationship between knowledge (p-value = 0.001) and attitude (p-value = 0.001) with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at the Pekauman Health Center, Banjarmasin City. It is hoped that health workers will increase awareness and comply with the regulations for the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) according to SOPs when working.
