Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to find out an overview of how public transportation management in Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Banjarbakula services and to find out what are the obstacles found while managing BRT Banjarbakula a public transportation services at the Dinas Perhubungan Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan/South Kalimantan Provincial Transportation Office. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The data was collected by interviewing two people as users of the Banjarbakula BRT public transportation service, one officer as Land Transportation Analyst of the South Kalimantan Provincial Transportation Service and also one officer as Field Coordinator of the South Kalimantan Provincial Transportation Agency. Data analysis using the Miles and Hubberman Models. The result showed that the BRT Banjarbakula public transportation service at the Dinas Perhubungan Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan/South Kalimantan Provincial Transportation Office which was viewed form the stages of planning, organizing, implementing and controlling had been well managed but not optimal in its services.
