Abstract :
This study is aimed of examining the process of teaching speaking by using cards, the problems of teaching speaking by using cards, the solution taken by the teacher, and evaluation of teaching speaking. The writer tries to conduct interview design research. So, the writer describes the process of teaching speaking by using cards at the eighth grade students of MTs N 1 Batu Licin. Media is such things that can be used to distribute the message from sender to receiver to stimulate the sense, mind, attention, and the student?s interest to build the teaching learning process. The English teacher of MTs N 1 Batulicin uses a media namely cards. Teacher?s activities for using cards are: Memorizing vocabularies, arrange the paragraph orally, describing event, telling story games.
