Siti Norhamidah, NPM. 18.12.0396. ?PERAN KANTOR URUSAN AGAMA (KUA) DALAM PENCATATAN NIKAH DI KOTA PURUK CAHU KABUPATEN MURUNG RAYA TAHUN 2021? Guidance Mr. Dr. Murdiansyah, S.sos., M.AP as the Main Advisor and Mr. Junaidy, S. Sos., M.I. Kom., M.AB as Co Advisor. The purpose of this research is to describe the condition of the implementation of the role of marriage registrar in Puruk Cahu City, Murung Raya Regency by the local KUA (Religious Affairs Office). The research method uses a descriptive approach to the type of qualitative descriptive research. Data were collected by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation to 7 informants. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation in the form of narrative descriptions, and concluding. The results of the study indicate that there are several roles and efforts made by the Office of Religious Affairs in Puruk Cahu City, Murung Raya Regency in 2021 so that people can register their marriages, namely through Friday sermons, during the implementation of the marriage contract in villages, through the media. social services such as WhatsApp and Facebook, through Islamic religious counselors, when making visits to villages accompanying sub-district heads and regents, as well as through religious leaders and community leaders during the implementation of the marriage contract.
