Abstract :
ABSTRACT This thesis analyzes the representation of homosexual adolescents in the study of the central characters. The method of analysis in this research is the study of representations in the novel We Contain Multitudes. The analytical method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive analysis method. The results showed that homosexuals sexuality were always represented as taboo and violated the norms in society, so that it was not uncommon for homosexuals to experience violence from the surrounding community, both verbal and physical violence. This condition shows that homosexuals are always on the side of the marginalized and oppressed.
