Abstract :
This research aims to find efforts to increase commitment to the teaching profession through strengthening empowerment, compensation and self-efficacy. This research uses a survey method with a correlational approach and SITOREM analysis. This research also produces a positive impact from the variables of strengthening empowerment, compensation, and self-efficacy on teacher performance. The research population was 266 people by drawing lots using a proportional random sampling technique calculated using the Slovin formula for 160 permanent foundation teachers. Based on the research results, there is a positive influence: (1) empowerment (X1) on teacher innovation as evidenced by the results of calculating the correlation coefficient (?y1) of 0.486 and the determinant coefficient ?2y1 of 0.236 (2) ompensation for teacher professional commitment as evidenced by the results of calculating the correlation coefficient (?y2) is 0.579 and the determinant coefficient ?2y2 is 0.335 (3) self-efficacy towards teacher professional commitment is proven by the results of calculating the correlation coefficient (?y3) is 0.605 and the determinant coefficient ?2y3 is 0.366 (4) empowerment and compensation for teacher professional commitment is proven towards the calculation of the correlation coefficient (?y12) of 0.581 and the determinant coefficient ?2y12 of 0.338 (5) self- efficacy towards teacher professional commitment as evidenced by the results of calculating the correlation coefficient (?y3) of 0.605 and the determinant coefficient ?2y3 of 0.366 iempowerment and self-efficacy towards teacher professional commitment which is proven by the calculation of the correlation coefficient (?y13) of 0.609 and the determinant coefficient ?2y13 of 0.370 (6) compensation and
self-efficacy towards the teacher's professional commitment as proven by the results of calculating the correlation coefficient (?y23) of 0.620 and the determinant coefficient ?2y23 of 0.384 (7) empowerment , compensation, and self-efficacy together towards the teacher's professional commitment as evidenced by the results of calculating the correlation coefficient (?y123) of 0.620 and the determinant coefficient ?2y123 of 0.384. This research concludes that teacher professional commitment can continue to be improved through strengthening empowerment, compensation and self-efficacy both individually and collectively
