Abstract :
The company need the competence of managers and adequate management control system because developed global competition, so that the company can improve its performance efficiently and effectively through the application of the balanced scorecard. Questionnaire was the major instrument used to gather relevant data. This research method using descriptive and statistical approach. This research is aimed to analyze the influence of manager?s competence on management control systems and management control systems on company?s performance. This research used the 30 samples i.e. the manager who oversees divisions at PT. Jaya Real Property Tbk. The results indicates that the competence of the manager had positive and significant influence on management control system. Management control systems had positive and significant effect on performance of the company. Keywords: manager?s competence, management control system, company?s performance
