Abstract :
In the business world, meeting the procurement needs of goods and services is crucial to ensure smooth business operations. PT ABC, a national-scale retail company, caters to almost all daily needs. However, the procurement department at PT ABC often encounters challenges in the document approval process, where documents are often misplaced or even lost, resulting in operational delays for the company. To address this issue, research was conducted to design a system that facilitates tracking the status of document approvals in the procurement department at PT ABC. Data was collected through observation, interviews with system users, and document studies. The system was designed using the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) approach with the waterfall model, utilizing PHP programming language and SQL database as the foundation. The implementation of this information system is reduce the risk of document approval delays.
