Abstract :
Adolescents are one of the most vulnerable age groups to the exposure of values that are in conflict with religious tolerance. This research aims to see the variable description of religious tolerance among adolescents in Indonesia and uses a descriptive quantitative method. Data collection was carried out by distributing an online questionnaire containing Witenberg?s Religious Tolerance Scale that was translated by Alfariz and Saloom to measure religious tolerance. This research uses the calculation of the theoretical mean and empirical mean to obtain a variable description of religious tolerance. The results obtained in this study indicate that the empirical mean of the variable religious tolerance (M=84.9) is greater than the theoretical mean (M=65), which means that the level of religious tolerance among adolescents in Indonesia tends to be high. The results of the quartile percentage also show that 127 of the respondents (27%), whom are the majority of the respondents, were categorized as having very high religious tolerance. This research also found that there was no significant difference between religious tolerance with factors such as level of education.
