Siti Istikomah, 19426017. 2022. Personification Found In Jamie Miller?s Song Lyrics. Final Project, English Study Program, Faculty of Language and Arts Education, PGRI Semarang University. Supervisor I: Dr. Nur Hidayat, M. Hum, Supervisor II: RR Festi Himatu K.,SS,.M.Hum Keywords: Personification, Jamie Miller?s Language is a tool that can be used to communicate, convey an idea and person's feelings in spoken or written form. In the delivery process, the use of language style becomes one of the choices where the choice of words taken directly or indirectly can reflect the personality of the person. Figurative Language is that what provides the reader with comparisons, substitution, and patterns that shape meaning. Personification is a style of language that compares something that is not human but the poet visualizes it being like a human, in other words Personification is a style of language that describes an inanimate thing as if it has human characteristics. The main problem in this study is to analyze the Personification found in the lyrics of Jamie Miller's song 2021. The purpose of the researchers conducting research on Jamie Miller's songs was to find Personifications in Jamie Miller?s songs in 2021 and to explain the meaning of Personification in the lyrics of Jamie miller?s songs in 2021 The method used in this study is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded as follows: 1) There are Personifications in the lyrics of Jamie Miller?s song in 2021, Researchers found as many as 8 lyrics containing Personification. 2) The researcher concluded that in the lyrics of the song, found in song that tells of love and sacrifice, there are many Figurative Languages spoken, one of which is Personification. With research to make it easier to learn to understand the content of the meaning and Figurative Language used in each song whose purpose is to beautify the meaning of the song.
