M.Pd, Advisor II: Entika Fani Prastikawati, S.Pd. M.Pd. Keywords: Total Physical Response, vocabulary mastery, fourth grade students. This final project is based on a study which attempted to examine the use of Total Physical Response (TPR) in teaching vocabulary mastery of the fourth grade students of SDN I Ngabul Tahunan Jepara. The main purposes of this study were to determine the effect of TPR in teaching vocabulary mastery and the students? attitude toward learning using TPR. The fourth grade class in SDN I Ngabul was consisted of 25 students were objects of this study. Pre-test was used as indicator to know the students? mastery in vocabulary. The learning using TPR is done to increase students? vocabulary mastery. The post-test and questionnaire were used to gain data on students? vocabulary mastery and the students? attitude toward learning using the TPR. The result showed that students? score was increasing. The students were also in great enthusiasm during the learning process with Total Physical Response. They were very enjoyable and happy during with that. It showed that TPR is successfully helping students in vocabulary mastery.
