Fitri Melinia, Shelly. 2024. The Use of Super Minds Fourth Level Book to Assist Students Speaking Narrative Competence at Plamongan Indah Learning Centre. Final Project, English Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Arts Education. University PGRI of Semarang. Advisor I: Dr. Dias Andris Susanto, S.Pd., M.Pd. Advisor II: Entika Fani Prastikawati, S,Pd, M. Pd. Keywords: Super Minds, Speaking, Narrative Text, Super Minds Fourth Level Book is a book which used at the Plamongan Indah Learning Centre to assist students? speaking competence. The reasons chose this book was because there are a number of facilities provided to support the learning system. One of them is the huge of narrative texts that are good assist students? speaking narrative competence. Based on the researcher? experience as a teacher, it was very difficult to teach English to students who use English as a foreign language, where is not even their second or third language. It is completely new language for them, English is not their mother language and it is huge differences between Bahasa and English. Super Minds fourth Level Book is highly recommended for use to assist students' speaking narrative in this case. In this reseach the researcher aims to determine: 1)How do the Super Minds Fourth Level Book assist students? speaking narrative competence. 2)What are the advantages and disadvantages of Super minds fourth level Book while assisting students? speaking narrative competence. The researcher used the interview result of 3 students at Plamongan Indah Learning Centre and also did some observation about the facilities of Super Minds Fourth Level Book and how to use it. The sample consisting of 3 students from Plamongan Indah Learning Centre to get the answer of all statements of the research. After got the result, research used Qualitative Method to processed the result. It also helped by data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing as the last step.
