Advisor I: Dr. Fitri Yulianti S.Pd., M.Pd. Advisor II: Th. Cicik Sophia B., S.S., M.Pd. Keywords: Reading Comprehension, YouTube videos, Procedure Text. The title of this final project is " The influence of using YouTube videos in learning procedure text: the case of seventh grade students in SMP Negeri 1 Ngawen Blora Regency in the Academic Year 2023-2024" This research used YouTube as a medium that has benefits, and the researcher used this media to research. The objectives of the study are : (1) to explain What is students' perception of using YouTube videos in learning procedure text, (2) To explain how is students' perception of using YouTube videos in learning procedure text, (3) To explain why is students' perception of using YouTube videos in learning procedure text. this study, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive research method. The subjects involved in this research were 32 grade 7A students of SMP Negeri 1 Ngawen. In this study, the researcher collects the data by using the questionnaire and interview. The questionnaires and interviews are in written form. The results obtained show that the score questionnaire strongly agree of students' reading after being taught by YouTube videos was higher and from interview They find procedural materials on YouTube to be entertaining and very motivating to learn and easy to understand it can be considered that the application YouTube media is better for students.
