Final project, English Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Arts Education,Universityof PGRI Semarang. AdvisorI: Sukma Nur Andini,S.S., M.Pd., AdvisorII; Fitri Yulianti, S.Pd.,M.Pd. Keywords: moral value, main character, FantastBeast Crismes ofGrindelwald This final project is conducted in order to analyze the moral values and main character in Fantastic Beast Crismes of The Grindelwald novel by J.K Rowling. The objectives of this research are; 1) to find out the main characters in Fantastic Beast Crismes of Grindelwald novel; 2) to find out the moral values found in Fantastic Beast Crismes of Grindelwald novel Descriptive qualitative method is used in this final project. The object of this research is an album entitled Fantastic Beast Crismes of Grindelwald novel by J.K Rowling. In observing data, the writer has five steps in observation. The steps are reading the novel, understanding the contents, finding moral value and the main characters, and concluding the result of analyzing. As the result of this research, The writer finds nine main characters and two moral values in Fantastic Beast Crismes of Grindelwald novel by J.K Rowling. From the analysis , the main characters in Fantastic Beasts The Crime of Grindelwald are Newt Scamander, Gellert Grindelwald, Albus Dumbledore, Credence Backbone, Leta Lestrange, Tina Goldstein, Queenie Goldstein, Jacob Kowalski, and Nagini. Three characteristics are bad; astute, sensitive, and selfish. On the other hands, there are eighteen characteristics. They are reliable, brave, affectionate, caring each other, humble, perspective, confidence, focus on your goals, cautious, persistent, loyal, never give up, kind-hearted, wholehearted, competent, thinker, and empathetic. The first moral value is having a good teamwork to make you easier to achieve the goal. The second moral value is if you treat other creatures well, they will repay you as well as you treat them which in the novel is done by Newt to magical creatures. The researcher suggests that teacher can use novel or movie with fantasy genre as media for teaching moral value and main character because it can make the students more interest in learning and get a fun experience in learning. Moreover, by using fantasy novel or movie, students can recognize many moral value and main character easier. The readers should analyze the object of this research further from its other aspects.
