Abstract :
Prasetyo, Ardi. 15420057. Conflict of the Main Character In Maledicent Movie Script And Its Contribution To Drama Teaching. Final Project, English Study Program, Faculty of Language and Arts Education, Universitas of PGRI Semarang. Advisor I: Dr. A.B. Prabowo K.A., S.Pd., M.Hum., Advisor II: Fitri Yulianti, S.pd., M.pd. Keywords: conflict of the main character, main character, Maleficent moive script. This research is a qualitative research. The main of the study are (1) to find out conflict of the main character in Maleficent movie script (2) to determine the contribution of character development on Maleficent Movie to Drama Teaching. The main source of this research is the movie entitled Maleficent. The writer used some steps. First, the writer watches the movie to understand well about the story. Second, the writer reads the dialogues or conversation of the script to understand the contents of the Maleficent movie script. Third, the writer analysis the conflict happened in the selected dialogues of movie script. Fourth, the writer classify the conflict into internal and external. The last, the wirter concludes the result of the analysis. Based on the results of this final project, the writer suggests that the students and the reader can know and understand about conflict in Maleficent movie and can know kinds of conflict. And also for the lecturer, the writer suggests that it can be an example of material in drama teachingclass especially in analyzing conflict in the Maleficent movie script.
