Final Project, English Education Study Program, Faculty Of Language And Arts Education, University of PGRI Semarang. Advisor I: Prof. Dr. Suwandi, M.Pd. Advisor II: Faiza Hawa, S.Pd., M.Hum. Keywords: Character Development, Oz The Great And Powerful Movie, Movie, Teaching Drama. The purpose of the analysis research conducted by the researcher is to know character development by the character in Oz The Great And Powerfulmovie. In this study the researcher examined and analyzed images, dialogues, and scenes in the movie of Oz The Great And Powerful, the research concluded several character Development that can be used in education. The objectives of the study are (1) To describe the characters described in the Oz the Great and Powerful movie, (2) To explain the character development and factor influence character development described in the Oz the Great and Powerful movie, And (3) To know the contribution of Oz the Great and Powerful movie to drama teaching. This is a descriptive qualitative study method, which in this research is done by analyzing and describing conducted by using analysis and describing research objects that are supported by theory and various sources of literature and documents. From this research there are some Characters that can be implemented in education. The results showed that: (1) Oz the Great and Powerful movie hasmany characters in this film namely liar, greedy, care, ambitious, bravery, wise, loyalty, optimistic, fair, neutral, spiteful, cruel. It is the good and the bad of a character (2) In a person often experiences character changes due to several factors including Physical change, Changes in the environment. In the end of the study, the writers expected to be reference in teaching drama.
